Yummy Drummies by Mummy


12 chicken drumsticks

At least ½ cup flour

1 tablespoon mixed herbs

2 teaspoons mixed spice

1 teaspoon curry powder

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon ground pepper

Olive Oil spray


1. Locate a large plastic bag. Place all dry ingredients and shake together

2. Add pieces of chicken to the plastic bag one or two pieces at a time and shake ensuring that each piece of chicken is covered

3. Spray large baking tray with Olive Oil spray or use Baking Paper to cover dish

4. Place each piece of chicken onto the tray ensuring they don't touch

5. Cover with foil and cook in the oven on 180 degrees for 3/4  hour or until golden

6. Remove foil and cook until the skin becomes a golden colour


Serve with Stuffed Potatoes, beans, carrots and broccoli

HINT: To make this chicken dish lower in calories (and the chicken more moist) place the chicken on a rack over a baking dish of water and reduce cooking time.
