Timesaver for Old Fashioned Lemon Pancakes

for a family of four


1 ½  cups plain flour

1 ½ cups milk

3 eggs beaten


Additional lemon cut into wedges.

Sugar to taste



  1. Mix plain flour and eggs together

  2. Add milk

  3. Using a ½ cup measure, slowly pour batter onto a flat full sized sandwich maker griddle until it makes a circle approximately 6 inches across (15 cm)

  4. Close the sandwich maker

  5. Cook for approximately thirty seconds or until cooked

  6. Remove pancake using an egg flip and place it onto a dinner plate



  1. Add lemon wedges

  2. Sprinkle the top of the pancake with sugar and squeeze lemon juice over

  3. Eat immediately

  4. Repeat the process for subsequent pancakes


Variation: You can add a variety of nuts and berries to make the recipe more healthy

HINT: You can maintain the same ratio of twice as many eggs as you use for flour to milk to make smaller or larger quantities
