Best Ever Bread Maker Bread

Basic Ingredients

310 mls water

2 tablespoons Olive Oil

2 teas salt

2 1/2 tablespoons sugar

1 1/2 cups bread flour

1 1/2 cups wholemeal bread flour

2 tablespoons whole milk powder

1 sachet (1 1/2 teaspoons) yeast

You can add any or all of the following ingredients according to your taste

2 tablespoons polenta

2 tablespoons fine cracked wheat

2 tablespoons sunflower seeds

2 tablespoons poppy seeds

1 tablespoon sesame seeds


1 teaspoon bread improver

2 tablespoons gluten flour


N.B. This recipe is designed for a Big Loaf Bread Maker. You will need to choose a whole wheat option for a 750 gram loaf


  1. Place each of the ingredients into bread maker tin in the order they are on the list (This is important because if you do them out of order they will not mix correctly. Do Not for example put dry ingredients in first.

  2. Press Wholemeal as the selected choice (3)

  3. Make the amount for a 750 gram loaf

  4. Set the crust for medium

OPTIONAL: You can add 1 tablespoon caraway seeds for a richer and different flavour. This is particularly good to use with antipasto
