FUN READING GAMES

Happy Little Girl

The following games are designed to introduce your child to some of the 100 high frequency words.

They are the words that we use each and every day in our speech, our reading and our writing. They're often the  words that go around nouns and verbs in a sentence. For example: I went to the shop and I bought an apple. The bold letters make up some of the words I am talking about. We use them every day and if your child knows them it is a great way of kick starting their reading.

Click on any of the animals below to take you to that game.

Although the games are different and can be used for revision purposes at any level, you will need to work through them each in order to access the words used, as the learning is sequential and cumulative.
